As part of our #InspiringWomenSeries, where we chat with some of the most successful female entrepreneurs, we sat down with Shini Park, Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Cubicle.

In a world of mass influencers, clickbait and consuming content on your five-minute coffee break, one woman had a vision to switch things up. Meet Shini, originally from Seoul, who on her 10^th anniversary of blogging decided to launch a slow-paced, soulful platform that injects passion back into reading online. Tired of content without purpose, Shini started Cubicle, which has quickly become the online equivalent to reading your favourite magazine on a lazy Sunday morning.

With a passion for true storytelling, Shini documents fashion, beauty and lifestyle through an aspirational lens. The modern and simplistic visuals add to the creative journey and are equally as calming as they are arresting.

Shini’s journey to the top begins with multicultural background. She abides by her own mantra: two-way communication is key: “Never shut anyone or anything down. Speak, discuss and learn from each other, whether that’s in business or in a social setting.”

Her best advice? “Don’t worry about what other people think. Sometimes less worrying can help you truly navigate your career.”
